I just love the old recipes! Somehow, the food of yesteryear tastes so much better than the food of today. Somehow, prepackaged, preprepared, processed food may have lost the unhealthy fats and stuff but along with them went the taste too.

Also, if one buys all fresh, unprocessed foods here in Australia, one can save the 10% GST because none of those foodstuffs are subjected to it. Another good reason to stick with the all natural foods.

Now, wouldn’t it be nice if along with all the nice old food tastes some of the manners of the time were included too? Social skills today seem to have been thrown out with the tastes…or is that just me getting to be old ‘n grumpy?
